As rumors of witch hunts and trials spread from the north, violence reaches the Hollow. Yet the sisters are not alone. They find unexpected allies and fated partners in three ancient beings drawn to their magic: Gideon, a wolf-shifting guardian; Caelum, a dragon elemental; and Marcus, a vampire scarred by Matherson’s cruelty.

However, Matherson is not the greatest danger threatening Briar Hollow. Beneath the church an ancient entity has been feeding upon generations of fear. By attempting to control it, Matherson may unleash a darkness capable of consuming witches, villagers, and the Hollow itself.

To survive, the sisters must uncover their family’s hidden covenant, unite their magic with the men bound to them, and stand before the very people who came to burn them.
